  1. Baumholder is the almost the area where I live. (Military spouse). So look www.bahn.de. I think you need to take a train perhaps ICE train first from Frankfurt Airport somewhere from there RB (Regionalbahn) to Baumholder.

Type the day, time and the train station from....... go to Baumholder on this page from the bahn.de and they show you the connections and the times and which train you need to take it. This page show you also the prices.

  2. The quickest option depends on when you arrive in Frankfurt Airport. There is no direct train service. You can take the train from the airport to Neubrücke(Nahe) and change to a #322 bus, take the train from the airport to Idar-Oberstein and change to a #320,  or take the train from the airport to Idar-Oberstein change to a train to Heimbach(Nahe) and change to a #322 bus.

Schedules for this can be found on the German train website: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.e...

Enter Frankfurt airport for the starting point and Baumholder for the destination. It will give you four choices in Baumholder. The first two are on the same bus line, just different stops. The last two require a second bus.

  3. Try this http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.e...
