  1. I believe Penn. Station is the only one. It's not that far of a walk from Time Square. I would say about 15 minutes, if that.

  2. lolz penn station is attached to the main nyc transit. i know because i travel in and out from amtrak. now you can just take the 7 straight to times square. 42nd you can take the 42nd grand central station. take the 7 straight to the last stop time square

  3. My friend, Penn Station is one of two main commuter trains stations in the City, the other is Grand Central Terminal, which is located on East Side of Manhattan

Now, in reference to subway station, Times Square-42nd Street station is about eight blocks north of Penn Station. You can take the uptown (northbound) #1, 2 or 3 subway lines (Red Line) from Penn Station to Times Square.

    Good luck

  4. Penn Station is about Eight blocks south of Times Square, and is served by trains from points south, jersey and Long Island.  Grand Central Terminal is about six blocks east of Times Square and is served by trains from points north like upstate NY and CT.

If you don't want to walk ti Times Square tou can catch a subway for $2, but you'll miss a bit of the city.  From Grand Central take the shuttle across or the #7 train.  From Penn Station you can take the  #1,2 or 3 .

  5. Grand Central Station is the other train station in New York.  It's on 42nd Street, but on the other side of town.  Penn Station would be closer to Times Square.
