  1. amtrak. or aclecta

  2. You could probably take the Acela or just check Amtrak

  3. Must you go by train?  I'm so sorry LOL

    Hartford CT>>Springfield MA>> Boston MA

    or

    Hartford CT>>New Haven CT>>Boston MA

Check for times and connections with www.amtrack.com

    Good luck.  You'll need it.

  4. Either:

Hartford to Boston via Springfield (Regional/Vermonter Service)

    or

Hartford to Boston via New Haven (Regional/Acela Express Service)

  5. There are six trains a day between Hartford and New Haven.  From there you can took another Amtrak train to Boston.

The trip between Hartford and New Haven took 58 min and between New Haven and Boston 2h 30 min.

  6. Do any of the answerers have a clue? Guess not... Anyway...

    You have 2 options.

1: Take a southbound to New Haven:

In New Haven board a north bound one of these:

    Arrive in Boston.

    2: A longer way.

Take one of the northbound trains to Springfield.

In Springfield, board the Lake Shore Limited.

I highly suggest option 1 to New Haven. Much quicker and more reliable..
