What training do you need to become a veterinary nurse?

I am a single parent,i have no car and no previous experience. Its going to be blimin hard work but i was wondering what route do i take in the uk for training etc and how long does it take etc??

If you're going to be an assistant the doctor will train you.  If you're going to be a vet technition it's a 2 year degree and vet technologist it's 4 or vice versa.
