  1. I  did a century last summer.  I didn't really train for it, but I'd been riding 100 miles a week for several months.  Most of my "training" rides were maybe 25-35 miles in length.  But I had some longer rides in there, here and there.  I didn't have too  much problem doing the century.

Some advice is to take a rest for the last 3 or 4 days before the century,  give your body a chance to be 100% recovered.  Make sure you've got enough food & water for the entire ride, we'd planned out stopping around every  25 miles at certain points to replenish ourselves.

Otherwise, just have fun.  I  was  intimidated before I did the century, but it's really  just a number.  Like I said, I'd been doing 100 miles a week for months, a century is just doing those miles all at once, which is challenging, but doable.
