What training would you pick, if it was free?

Question

If you had the oppurtunity to have all your training and supplies paid for, and recieved unemployment insurance at the same time (up to two years). What vocation would you choose, in today's economy? I have recently lost my job due to foreign trade. And now I qualify for Trade Adjustment Assistance. I don't want to be in this situation again. My background is in manufacturing with electronics (IC's) and it's not working out. China is now the leader in electronics production. I have a degree in electronic systems but I don't really personally see a future in it. I need a change.

I would become a medical transcriptionist if I had free training.  In this economy I would not train for anything that is production related work.  All of our jobs in the production fields are going out of the country.

I would also go into the Internet tech field, there is no shortage of people wanting everything at their fingertips.

Why don't you train to trade stocks?? It might be boring work, but it pays off very well. I hope I inspired you. lolz.
