  1. He he,...trenitalia is not a train, is the society.. Anyway, do not keep an intercity from rome and florence, keep an EUROSTAR, in 1 hour e 35 u will be in florence.. From flroence to pisa, kepp an intercity. From Florence to milan an eurostar (33 euro) 2,45 hours... Have a nice trip.. Ciao.

  2. In Rome at the Termini you can purchase your ticket by using your credit card and you will be charged by euro. For the best comfort take the Eurostar.

  3. trenitalia is the italian rail company..for comfort and speed the eurostar trains are best although a bit more expensive than the intercity..but they are worth it..you don't risk having to stand up for the whole trip...

  4. You can take lots of different trains, but you pay a little extra for speed.

    Go to

    trenitalia.com

and you can look up the schedules and fares

I saw some trains from Roma to Pisa were 3 hours and others were 4 hours.

The 3 hr. trains had a change in Florence and cost 38,50 e.

and the 4 hr train cost 27,50 e.

To search prices, click on the shopping cart icon, then choose fare "standard" and type 1 next to adult, then you can see 1st and 2nd class prices.
