Question:

What traits to boys usually inherit from their father?

i mean like bone structure eye color temperment all of that.

i know sometimes its a toss up but is there a standard set of traits that boys get from their fathers?

  1. It is a "c**p shoot", because traits are inherited from both parents (and their parents, etc) and the ones which are dominant are the ones that show up usually.  You may inherit a trait from your mother's grandfather and another one from your father's mother, so who knows for sure?  We aren't exactly like dogs or horses in "blood lines" or at least I hope not.  (Then again, maybe we are).  Happy trails.

Your genetics cone from both parents so you do not get one specific trait from your dad if your a boy.You can have two parents that are 5 foot 7 inches tall and their daughter ends up being six foot three because her mothers father was that tall,its all a genetic grab bag and there is NO standard set of traits you get from your father...example my husband and i have five boys my husband has the most adorable dimples when he smiles but only boys #3 and #4 have inherited those.
