What travel companies and resorts are good for single people?

I don't want to be paired off and I don't want a rowdy '18-30' holiday. I'd like something quiet and cheap. Every time I keep searching for something, it's '2 people minimum'...it's making me tear my hair out!

  1. here try these web sites hope you find what you're looking for.

    www.justyou.co.uk

    TravelIndochina.co.uk/Singles

    www.friendshiptravel.com/

not too sure what they are like tho.

  2. Haven't used them for one reason and another for a few years, but I found Ramblers really good.  I found there were other single people and couples - we all got along because we were generally open to talking to other people.  We all met up and had dinner together and deliberately moved around the tables so that we had the opportunity to speak to different people.  There were generally over 30s - quite a few teachers.

The guides certainly knew their stuff.  They were also professional in drawing in the less outgoing people without being overbearing or embarrassing.   You don't have to be a dedicated walker - you can choose a less demanding level of walking.

I intend to use them again.  Hope they are still as good as they used to be.

  3. 18-30 if your a hedonistic type, saga if your older

  4. This isn't a direct link, but we use Wishcraft to sort our holidays, and you just basically tell them exactly what you want, and they find it for you and give them your budget too so that they get you something you can afford.  They always get us cheap deals through contacts
