What truck am I thinking of?

Question

I heard of this truck its a V8 on off road but when its on the highway it uses only 4 cylinders does anyone know what Im thinkin of?

Look up 2009 Dodge 1500 with a Hemi engine

Hybrid Chevrolet. They use all 8 when under a load and drop to 4 when cruising down the highway.

The Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra and the Dodge Ram have that.

It's called "Variable displacement"

It cuts of cylinders to help save fuel at highway speeds.
