What turtle should i get if i dont want it bigger than 5-6 inches?

i want to get a turtle but the tank needed to maintain a red ear slider is too big for my room. what kind of wisconsin turtle should i get?

box turtle all the way, very cute, like to play with mini tamatoes and fun to play with overall they are very cool
