A Pioneer Kuro plasma. They have gotten cheaper on amazon.com, and they offer THE darkest blacks in the flat panel industry. It is also the best TV for dark shades. Dynamic contrast is a trick that LCD manufacturers use to get a high contrast ratio. The pioneer does not do that. Pioneer displays the best color rendition of all flat panels.
