2 shades of blue together

You could go to any online paint store and test paint matches with there colour options.

Or you could paint you room yellow. A soft butter cream yellow and then a richer butter colour. Pain it in vertical strips about six inches in width around the room.

I would then put up a white bead board, and get some nice curtains in a colour that compliments.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think it would look great to do your room in "mature grape" (# 6286) and "colonial yellow" (# 0030).
