What two states require a license to catch crawdads (crawfish, crayfish)?

I dont know about other states, but in Louisiana you only need a license if you catch them commercially. Im betting it would be hard to enforce recreational licensing since crawfish are literally everywhere.

if it's so important why not check the state where you live or where you are wondering?  Dept of Fish and Game or Game & Inland Fisheries....

Well, Puerto Rico is a "territory" of the United States and will soon require a licence for catching lobster (crawlfish).
