What type and color of cabinets would go with natural maple hardwood flooring?

Maple, but a darker stain color If you want wood tone.  There are also the color stains - green could be very cool for a country/casual look or black for a more modern look.  

Just have fun with it.

Tastes differ.  To find out what you like, get some nice magazines and check out the cabinets you see.  I have wood flooring and put in Oak cabinets.  I think they look nice.  I painted my baseboards black and they make the floors pop.

If your floors are natural maple they are very light contrast them with a darker wood stain on whatever you choose. BTW oak seems to be out of style right now, Maple and Cherry are still very in style. So is adler but that is knotty and I wouldn't do that unless your floor is a rustic one and knotty

I would stay with the maple, so that the wood grain is similar, but in a Darker Stain.If your floors are Natural, ask to see a Honey Maple Stain.That should look great. 8/8/8
