Just generally not specific, I went on a pretty big one called 'Crazy Galleon' in Ocean Park Hong Kong that swung you around 25 m into the air. It's weird that the sensation of g-forces when you swing down felt much much greater then any of the roller coasters I've been on (medium sized ones 2-3 G vertical, 0.8-1.1 G lateral). Theres very little information on wikipedia and google I'd like to know briefly about the type and intensity of G-forces on those big swinging rides

  1. It depends on which Swing Ship type of rides you are talking about.

If you are referring to the Intamin AG type which fully goes upside-down (the model is called a looping starship) then you face 3 G's when full and in complete operation. Also -1 G's or so around there when you are completly up-side down.

If you are referring to those types in the fairs or other amusement parks where it probaly turns halfway up in the air, then you face probaly 2-3 G's depending on its size and its capacity. The lateral is 1 G's.
