  1. You have a 20amp 230volt plug in your hand.  You will need to have someone install a 230 volt outlet for your treadmill to operate on.

  2. Kudos to Thor for providing a link to a chart, but he should have looked at it a bit closer, hehehe... According to that chart, that plug is a 20 amp, 250v male plug.

While I'm comfortable doing my own wiring, 220v isnt something to play around with, you should call an electrician to have the circuit and outlet installed.  Get a few estimates, and check their references.

You may also need a permit, depending on where you live.

Do NOT use an adapter.  Get it wired properly.

  3. It is a 20 amp, 125 volt plug.

For 250 volts the neutral and hot prongs are swapped.

It is not safe to use an adapter. That is why they use that plug so you cannot plug a 20 amp appliance in to a 15 amp outlet or circuit.

  4. Well I can tell you it is a 20 amp plug, but it looks as if it is 250volts.Unfortunately you cannot use an adapter for this. You have to run an electric line rated for 250 volt.It would be a 12awg 4wire line. You might want to check the manuel if you have it or check the internet to be sure.

  5. Its a 120v 20amp plug. Its not 250v. 250v looks like this  -.-                   You have to use an outlet thats 20 amp and has #12 wires going to it. I'm absolutly positive.
