  1. Sony makes more than one model sub

info needed to PROPERLY match amps and subs

the subs voice coil setup (DVC or SVC)

    the subs impedance (ohms)

the final impedance at the amp (how the subs are wired)

    the number of subs

    the subs RMS (continuous) wattage

    or

    the model numbers

  2. you have a sony speaker why not go with a sony xplode amp? they are great for the money. lookout for cheap amps!  but you cant go wrong with a brand you recognize.  just make sure the amp is 2ohm stable and use the right power cable to power your system. maybe a six channel amp so you can power all your speakers not just the sub. make sure your sub is installed into a good enclosure. dont forget security! you add bass you draw attention. get an alarm and keep whats yours!
