I want to transfer some of my daughter's cartoon VHS tapes to DVD. I have the DVD recorder but when I went to purchase some blank DVD's, I didn't know which one to buy for this. I saw 16x, 52x, etc. Which ones would I need to buy for this? Thanks for your help!

  1. the 16x, 32x, 52x are the speed rate at which the recording is done.....check with the recorder capability to write and you can buy that DVD...

it has backward compatibility...means that DVD writer having the writing speed of 16X can write to 52X DVD with the speed of 16X.....You can buy 52X DVD, and I don't think there would be any price difference
