What type of DVD player do I need to play Chinese movies?

I have a lot of movies from China and many of them are incompatible with my Panasonic DVD player. What type of DVD player do I need to buy to play movies from foreign countries?

May be it's due to the region code difference of the player and the dvd discs. If the region code of the dvd discs you have is 3 and if the player's code is 1, then the player won't play the disc.

To make the dvds playable inspite of region codes, u have to make ur player a region code free player or All Region or Code 0 player. Search with ur player's model number, how to change the region code of the player.
