How do I know what to get? Dish Network as well. Can someone recommend the cheapest reciever and dish that I can buy to get new service. I don't care about DVR or HD. Model # please. Also if anyone knows how to get new dish service with bad credit and not pay the 200$ that would help too.

  1. Most landline phone companies offer a bundle deal with either Dish or Directv and that usually doesn't require a deposit. As for buying your own equipment none of the newer Directv receivers can be sold since they are no longer customer owned, they are now considered leased equipment.Any of the older ones were cust owned, pretty much any that have a brand name like Sony,RCA,Hughes etc were cust owned.Any of the standard rec that DTV had will still work for standard tv.Not sure about Dish though.
