I want to create devices to help epilepsy patients.. like different types of pacemakers.. Is there neurological engineering? Would that be it?

And also what field would you recommend and what exactly does that branch do?

  1. Biomedical engineering.  This can be an undergraduate degree at a few schools, but I think most often this is a graduate degree, often from electrical engineering.

If you want to go this way, find out what else you need beyond engineering to get into the graduate program.

  2. Biomedical engineering.  The working degree is the PhD, and you will find the schools that offer the degree by running an internet search on "biomedical engineering degree."
