What type of HD medium should i get for my room?

I want to get either an HDTV or a projector for my room. I am getting curtains that go over my window so that my room is completely dark. My room is 16'4" x 14'4" and i am sitting far away from the tv.

What should i get?

I have both a front projector and a plasma tv in my family room. I seem to use the tv more than the projector (really only use the projector for movies). The reason is that you don't always want to watch a huge screen and have to turn the surround sound on. It's great for movies but for just watching regular tv, it's over kill.

If your planning on watching mostly tv, I'd go with the hdtv. If it's mostly for movies and games, go with the projector.
