  1. maxium security. realize they that "life" is 20 years. unless out lined by the judge. correction if for smaller crimes. like stealing or for Juvenal's. the others are for bigger crimes. like murder, rape, etyc

  2. In normal usage, a detention center is for hold persons until the trial. A correctional center is a low or medium security oriented toward retraining in the expectation that after release the person will not return to crime.

A murder convict would go to a maximum security prison.

"Political correctness" try to avoid the word "prison" and call all of them correctional centers or something less obvious.

  3. maximum security prison for life

  4. The bad kind

  5. The level of prison will depend on what the inmate is actually convicted of... not all murderers go to a maximum security.  Inmates have points (points are awarded for the crime, behavior, etc) and the amount of points determine the level of prison.  There are some murderers that are in a level 2 prison and some drug offenders in a level 3 or 4.  Charles Manson is in a maximum security SHU (secured housing unit) and he didn't commit murder but due to his crimes, he's obtained X points.

  6. Maximum security Prison.
