  1. 80 GB

  2. If you don't want to play any m rated games buy a Wii.  Playstation three is for people who like the real GOOD games.  otherwise, it depends on how much money you have.  40 doesn't have any media ports, and may be discontinued, the 60 and 80 do have the ports.

  3. 0 gb, cheaper in logn run

  4. i heard 160gb ps3 is coming soon wait till then most likey the there will be price drop, for more info go to the link below

  5. If your looking for something backwards compatiable (so you can play your PS2 games on too) You should get either the 40 or 60 GB. The 20, and 80 aren't backwards compatiable at all, except the metal gear solid 80 GB. But since you dont like MGS, I'd say go for the 60 GB.

  6. 80 GIG

  7. 60

  8. wait till mid September the 80gb will drop down to 399

  9. Don't get a PS3 - Sony are nasty, bad people - just go to liksang.com...

  10. 80gb its only 399$ and better just bought mine 3 days ago

  11. i got a 60gb on release day, a 80gb would be much better because i sometimes run out of space because i put loads of trailers films and demos on mine

  12. I'd get the 80 GB "Core" model that's coming out this fall, it's gonna be the same price as the 40 GB and with a bigger hard drive. If you don't care about b/c with PS2 games, then don't get the 60 GB.

To eliminate confusion, the "old" 80 GB has b/c with 80% of PS2 games and is more expensive, the "new" 80 GB Core model is the same price as the 40 GB, with a bigger hard drive ( which means more saves)

Don't listen to OMGWTFE, there's plenty of great games for the PS3

I'm sorry you don't like M-rated games, but MGS4 is a really great game.

Plus it's pretty tame for an M-rated game, it's not that bloody compared to many other games such as Gears of War, plus the game actually encourages that you use stealth rather than killing people. The language isn't worse than a PG-13 movie, they don't constantly curse throughout the game, a couple of swears here and there. And if a little blood is that bad, you have the option to turn off blood.

However, there are some great T and E rated games for the PS3.

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is a really great, E-rated game, the weapons are really creative, the graphics are great, and you feel like you're in a Pixar movie.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Warhawk are really great T-rated games, if you're gonna play online a lot, get Warhawk, it's only online, but it's intense and fun. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a really fun action-adventure game, the music is amazing, the game is just action packed, and the characters look and feel alive in terms of personality.

Keep in mind, I'm not listing the M-rated games for the PS3

  13. For games like MGS4, I'd go for the 60GB, because honestly, that's probably the only good game out for the PS3 and don't bother wasting money on a 80GB, since there might be no another games on the PS3 worth taking up memory at the moment. I'm not offending Sony, but their games aren't really up to my standards...At the moment...

    By the way, MGS4 ROCKS!

  14. 60gb
