What type of Processor Should I buy or can buy?

Here's my question....I Have an AMD Sempron(tm)Processor 3200+...I like it, it works great, but I'm curious on what I can Upgrade too? How to tell? What are my options if any? I'm trying to upgrade my computer alittle by little and I was just wondering?

  1. what kind of computer because socket can fit but the chipset might not accept need model and brand and possibly motherboard manuf. and model #


  2. Sempron processors are the lowend procs. It's socket 754. You are bound by that. So any proc that is Socket 754 compatible, then you can probably use it. But like the other person said, check your motherboard maker's website.

  3. go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and check which model processors 'll support for your motherboard. then buy a latest one
