What type of WESTERN SADDLE is this?????

i would not suggest it... it doesnt look very good. move on.

it is a mexican saddle.the seat looks about to be a 13-14 inch seat so it would be for a child or a small woman,just don't get it wet because the leather they use is tanned with a lot of things including urine.

What you're looking at is a fancy child's Mexican or Charro saddle.  If you told us your price range, we could look for you.  Are you looking for a child's saddle or an adult's?

That looks like a Charro saddle, but pony sized.

It looks like it might be a child's saddle.

The seat looks very small.

It has an a fork swell or what they call a wade tree I think.

It does not have any swell at the front and if you need the support you would have to add bucking rolls to it.

It looks like it is fancy and old. Sort of a mexican style with the very large horn cap.

I would have them measure the seat size to be sure of the size.

Looks like a cross between a standard roping saddle and a mexican saddle. The horn is a bit too big for practical roping. For my taste.

It's a Mexican saddle, old or traditional style. (child size) There are Mexican made western saddles that look like 'our' version of a western saddle.  Saddles like this one are the precursor to the saddle of the American west.
