It's so mixed up! Oven= aven. Onion= inion. I don't get it!=] She should make up her mind on how to say words, each time she says a word, she says it differently!

Despite her voice, she makes nice stuff.

  1. It's an affected accent right enough.

Anyway, she's the poor man's Nigella Lawson. She can't l**k her fingers as suggestively as the bould Nigella........

  2. It's probably fake.

  3. I find it quite hard to understand her, personally. I mean, we all know how to say ingin, and busher, and that you shtick de pullet in de range til tis roasted.

Maybe it's cos she worked in Canada for a while. Or because she's posh Cork. Darina had a bit of an odd accent too. It's probably the wather in Ballymaloe.

  4. I think she has an Irish accent, but I'm really not sure.

  5. she has a POSH accent thats what, a fake, put - on accent.

    :)

    its the truth btw ...

  6. She definitely has an Irish accent but it's a neutral one so it's difficult to identify specifically where she comes from.  There are a lot of presenters on Irish television who have quite neutral accents, it's not just Rachel Allen.  Sometimes the odd word will come out & you'll be able to put the finger on where s/he comes from.
