What type of advertising appeal does newspapers use?

a really good one they use their subscription plus daily sales. This shows a potential customer what the coverage of the news paper is, but if you look even deeper they should be able to tell you in a general way about the demographic of the larger distribution areas.

If I am selling BMW's  I might want to make sure that the paper is read in the upper class neighborhoods so as to reach the demographic that is likely to want to buy my cars.

note; I am sorry but either I didn't understand your question or Number 2 doesn't.  Are you eally asking about starting a business or are you asking about the appeal of using a news paper?
