What type of aesthetic work is available for bulimia damage??

PLEASE HELP !!! i have horrible loss of enamel especially my front bottem teeth... what can i do? and whats the average price range for something like that???

  1. You will have to have a consult with the dentist and be honest and hopefully you have the bulimia under control....

    MI paste is good for remineralizing enamel (google it, avail online, ebay) but usually full coverage crowns work best to fully support what is left of the teeth.....


  2. First, if the problem is caused by bulimia, treatment for this issue must come first in order to stop the further loss of enamel and to improve health. Once the disorder is treated, then you can consult you dentist. Some times veneers are the best option and can save your teeth, other times you may need to replace the teeth all together. If it is a minor loss you can look into enamel treatments, but most often veneers and filings are best.

    Prices vary considerably based on the damage. No one can give you an estimate without an X ray to see the extent of damage which has been done. You may have lots of decay accompanying weakened enamel... common with bulimia.
