I have two pair of Infinity Perfect 6.1 component speakers. Their specs are Sensitivity: 90 dB

RMS Power Range : 25-100 Watts

Peak Power Handling: 400 Watts

Frequency response: 75-23000 Hz

Diameter: 6.5 Inch..........What type of amp do I need to push these speakers to give me all they have? Keep in mind I am completely ignorant when it comes to these things... Thanks!

  1. if one pair (2 speakers) require 100 watts rms, then

2 pairs (4 speakers) will require a 200 watts rms amp.

if you want to have better sound quality, get a 4 channel amp that does 50watts rms x 4 channels at their ohm load, probably 4 ohms (since you didnt specify the ohm load on those components).

and connect each component to its own channel to have a better stereo/surround sound.

  2. you would only want to give these speakers around 100w max each. so any 4 channel 800w amp should be fine. 800w amp should do around 300rms at least depending on the quality of it.
