What type of amp should I get to power my 2 Fi Q12 Subwoofers?

The sound quality of the subwoofers are more important to me than straight up SPL.

I would very highly recommend JBL. They make pro quality stuff at an affordable price. I've never been more happy. Their power output stats are always underated too. My 600 watt amp put out 790! It never got hot, and sounded fantastic! The problem you would have is that they have a 500 watt amp and a 6000 watt amp, so nothing in your RMS power range. You could take two of the 500 watt amps and wire them together.

Another option is Alpine. They make some great amps, but are a little pricey. It is in your power range however.
