When Geelong's Max Rooke was treated in Germany for chronic hamstring problems he was injected with various animal substances & calf blood.

Does anyone know what these"substances" were - or from what anaimals?

  1. If it was a hamstring problem then maybe they used hamster blood. That makes sense doesnt it.

  2. They could get some blood extracts from any of ther\ Collingwood players = thery are all animals!

  3. donkey blood

  4. no idea mate but did it fix rookes hammy's or did he come back and do another, it has to be related to the knee injuries you'd think, all ex players know how when you sustain an injury, you tend to favour one side resulting in something else playing up on the good side, so to speak.

i tore a calf muscle on Saturday doing the running for our club, hobbled like like a dikhead, iced it up, then again at home sat night for 30-40 min, i thought to myself, ahh, I've done this b4, cause i have been walking on the outside of my foot, my arch is aching like #@$#,      any way i digress, i just hope Coggs gets to play a few games, you wouldn't wish his luck on any one, he must of run over a chinaman.

  5. i know there is an extract from the comb of a rooster and an extract from the breast of a cocketeel

sounds like voodoo to me i wonder if the doc mixes it up in a couldren and drives to work on a broomstick

however it did wonders for max rooke so i hope my membership money is well spent
