  1. Group or class? Huh?

  2. Snails are within Phylum Mollusca (which includes squid, clams, chitons and snails), and Class Gastropoda (meaning 'stomach foot') which includes snails, slugs, and nudibranchs.

  3. a mollusc i believe, a gastropod mollusc to be exact

  4. snails are mollusks, and have many interesting features of themselves

    firstly to define a mollusk:

    All mollusks have: -a mantle

-some kind of shell (interior or exterior, doesn't

have to be hard either) protecting their mantle

also, snails have an interesting feature about them called a radula. the radula is what snails use to eat. it can be best described as a tongue carpeted with razorblades (of course there arent actually razorblades on the tongue, but you get what i mean)

    hope that helps!
