snails are mollusks, and have many interesting features of themselves

firstly to define a mollusk:

All mollusks have: -a mantle

                           -some kind of shell (interior or exterior, doesn't

                            have to be hard either) protecting their mantle

                          

also, snails have an interesting feature about them called a radula. the radula is what snails use to eat. it can be best described as a tongue carpeted with razorblades (of course there arent actually razorblades on the tongue, but you get what i mean)
