  1. might be raccoons..........or fox, but I don't think raccoons kill poultry and fox do not eat berries.

Edit....just looked at the photo...too big to be fox or raccoon f***s........do you have any bears in your area or mountain lions?

  2. Probably a raccoon.

  3. Raccoon and they will kill chickens if they ever get started. Kill one another will come. Just put the chickens up at night.

Could be opossum also but I doubt it.

If you believe it is hanging around you can determine without a doubt if its a raccoon. Place shallow pan of water by the tree and in the water place corn or otter food a raccoon could see and retrieve. Only a raccoon will get food from in the water.  Alternatively you could form fresh mud and place any food where the animal must step in it. Look at the tracks.

  4. what state?

  5. Coon, opossum, or skunk, it's kinds hard to tell without a picture of a track .  Set out a Have-A-Hart trap with a can of tuna in it and you should catch it pretty quickly, then kill or relocate it a good distance away or it will keep comin' back and killin' your chickens

  6. A raccoon

  7. if its eating berries I doubt its harmful to chickens. There are very few omnivores in the wild.

Post a pic of the poo. that would be more helpful.
