  1. It's a wet cell battery.  Dry and gel batteries don't have fill caps on the top of the battery.  AGM batteries are deep cycle batteries, so its not AGM either.

    How I know, I have one in my boat.  When its not boating season, I yank it, store it, and trickle charge it once during the winter.  This year's boating season started, grabbed it from the shed, put it in, hit the starter and got full cranking amps with no problem.

    The regular Everstart marine battery is a starting battery, NOT a deep cycle battery.  If you use it for a trolling motor, it will die much faster than a deep cycle battery.

    The Everstart Maxx Marine battery I believe is "called" a deep cycle battery, but I wouldn't trust it for deep cycle applications.  Buy you a reputable deep cycle battery for a trolling motor.
