  1. Halfmoons.  I know this is very expensive but look at this page and you'll see how much $$$ you'll make off of breeding them.  And you'll get very beautiful fish to look at.  I would suggest the Chocolate Halfmoon if I were you.  Here is the page: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/aquar...  Good luck.  Bettas are not easy to breed.

  2. i agree with you that half moons are beautiful but they are expensive and there baby's might not have the same quality as their mother or father crown tails are beautiful and i think are wonderful. when you sell a beta fish people will want to buy healthy beautiful fishes they would want to buy half moons. but i still suggest crown tails.and remember you need the proper tools to breed a beta fish and breeding can be hard and difficult. good luck

  3. You should DEFINITELY breed the crowntails but be careful, they are more aggressive than other betta. As for the selling faster part..... I think half-moons win that part.

    Good Luck! :)

  4. Well, if you are just starting with breeding bettas halfmoons are not as good. They are hard to breed and most of the babies will not have the halfmoon quality.

That pair of crowntails look stunning and wuld be great to work with!

  5. Crowntails.

  6. Halfmoon bettas are extremely beautiful, but you have to know what you're doing when breeding them, as they are harder to breed than most. They have to be quality bettas to breed, not a pair from Petco, please remember that. I think that crowntails are also beautiful and they will still produce good fry, not so many complications as with halfmoons.  I wouldn't go with veiltails just because they are very common! Good luck to you and please make the right choice on where to get good breeding bettas. Many of them can be found online.

    ----Edit----

Oh! I love that pair of crowntails in the picture. They even have identical colors. This is a wonderful pair to breed. Good luck!
