What type of birth certificate does a child get when they are adopted in the usa?

hi i am a us citizen and my husband is resident we live in morristown and we are going to adopt his niece but she got here 3 years ago from colombia we dont know if when she gets adopted what type of birth certificate doesshe get maybe another colombian certificate or a us certificate

if anyone knows about this it woulod be alot help we are paying alot of money and we want to know this to see if we need an inmigration lawyer

she cant get a US birth certificate even after the Adoption is done. she was born in Colombia not USA duh Colombian birth certificate!!!

legal Adoption  and she become a  naturalized united states citizen.

she will be issued a new state birth certificate, you could try to do the adoption pro se (with out a lawyer), talk to the clerk of the court. i'd contact an adoption lawyer before an immigration lawyer
