My knee hurts when driving some cars. I think it is due to low seats and hard dashboards. I need a suggestion what type of car to buy.

  1. A pickup truck.  I had the same problem, but in trucks the seats are really high.  It helped me.

  2. You can get hand controls put into your vehicle to eleviate your knee problem.

  3. Make sure it is comfy for you when you test drive it, and get one with an automatic transmission.

  4. Yeah low slung cars give me pain from the small of my back all the way to my toes. That's why I drive a small pickup. The seat is high enough that my knees are bent rather than being locked straight.
