  1. They want a long lean pig.  One that has heavy hams and a long loin for a lot of high priced pork chops.  They are shooting for a heavier pig, 250-300 lbs, than they used to (a 220 lb pig).  They want a leaner more muscular pig with less body fat.

  4. they really try to get a carcass that will produce the most meat with the least feed, and not too fat,nor too lean,  i like some fat on MY pork chops and bacon.
