Cats are carnivores and need real meat. Not the junk the pet food companies would have us believe is healthy.

Dry food is BAD BAD BAD for your cat and a steady diet of it will kill your animal eventually. It killed my 15 year old cat. She eventually became very sick. I wish I had been educated on the correct diet for cats. Don't assume the stuff you buy in the grocery store is good. It is not.

I started  my new shelter-rescue kitty on raw diet and the difference is amazing.He coat has become so thick, he is active and strong, he does nto eat as much and the litter box is not offensive.  Plus, it is no more expensive than buying cans.

Dry food is convenient for people...not good for cats.

Sorry, I am passionate about the cat food thing since I saw what dry food did to my beloved deceased kitty.

I feed some raw food, wet Blue Buffalo, and a bit of dry. I'm dying to try the Taste of the Wild for cats but I can't find it anywhere.

Purina Indoor Formula......the only thing they like and will eat and sometimes as a treat we give them canned food.

i feed my cat purina one for an adult cat. the chicken and rice formula. the rule of thumb in picking food for ur pet is to look at the ingredients, if its first 5 in things u don't recognize or cant pronounce then its bad. stay away from meow mix, kibbles and bits brands and such they are lacking in the nutrition. the food i buy has chicken as its first ingredient.

I feed Innova and my cats love it. It is so worth it to spend a little extra money on cat food to keep your cats healthy in the long run!  Other good brands are Wellness, Natural Balance and California Natural.  You can go to their websites to locate a store near you.  Stores like Red Bandanna offer some other good choices.  I promise it is worth it!  My cats look better and I can tell that they feel better.  Plus it makes me feel better to know that I am feeding them right.

My Persian and my Exotic Shorthair eat Royal Canin Persian 30 and Blue Buffalo Wilderness dry and Tiki Cat, Merricks and Fancy Feast Selects canned food.

My Ragamuffin and domestic shorthair eat the same canned foods but Innova Evo and Blue Buffalo Wilderness dry.

I also occasionally give all of them Nature's Variety Raw Diet - Organic Chicken.
