What type of catfish is this?

Question

My friend got a cat fish from petco and I want one but she doesn't know the name of it and neither do I!

It looks like a mini 3 inch or more hammer head shark!

It is grey with a white belly!

And I already looked on line at petco.com but it was not there!

And I can never get a hold on petco!

So can you help me find out?

I doubt it looked like that. At petco, a commonly sold fish is the plecostomus.

Does it look like any of these? These are corydoras and they like to swim in schools. You need 3 for them to feel happy.

It sounds like an iridescent shark and these fish will get to be over 3 foot long and should be in the company of at least 3 of their own kind. You can look up Pangasius sutshi or Platyprotlus siamemsis to see if either of these fish looks like the fish that you have. Yes they are both catfish from Asia
