What type of cd do i need to burn a dvd on to?

You actually need to get a burnable DVD, such as Maxell DVD-R. A dvd generally holds video, which CD's can do as well. A cd on the other hand though, will burn your files onto it, not in DVD format, and it will only be able to play on your computer. A Dvd will then play on a dvd player, although some players don't support the type of disk (I'm not sure why. Some are just picky). Also, you need to be sure that you have a DVD burner too and not just a cd burner. Good luck!!
