  1. just a regual shirt that you dont care if it gets wet

  2. Go visit chill-cheater and get some of their fleece thermal type clothing. There really is nothing like it for keeping you warm under a dry suit. . .

  3. Yes it depends on weather really.

If it's a warm season or you are somewhere fairly warm then a rash vest or some form of thin thermal is quite adequate.

If it's a colder season then more layers are essential for keeping warm. Remember that if you are being fairly hardcore (well, paddling for a while) then you're going to work up a sweat, so thermals are important to keeping warm but so is having a wicking T-shirt or similar which takes any moisture away from your skin allowing you to stay cool.

What ever feels most comfortable to you would I suppose be the best advice.

  4. I've got a set of thermals that I wear either on the sea, on the river and for diving.  Take a look here:

  5. under armor long underwear or fleece

  6. Depending on the time of year, I will wear layers to stay warm and dry.  My dry-suit is Gortex, so it breathes very well.  I start with Under Armour, and then Polypropylene (as a middle layer if it's very cold), then Polartec fleece.  These materials all wick water out away from the body, and the Gortex lets it evaporate.  If it's warmer, you can eliminate one or more layers...but I always use the Under Armour to keep my skin dry, even if it's pretty warm.

  7. you can wear a rash vest like bodyboarders and surfers weae. you can get them from any good sports shop or look on line.
