What type of clothing should I take to Las Vegas in late October?

According to the source below the weather will be in the 80's. Dress warm but expect a little bit of chilliness at night.

The weather can still be in the upper 80's in October and depending from where you hail, I would say bring at least one pair of shorts and summer tops, plus long pants, too.  Bring along a light jacket or sweater because at night the temp really drops in the desert.  Bring very comfortable walking shoes, too.

For those who live here, it is one of the beautiful times of the year and we still wear shorts and summer tops!

It is still warm then ... not HOT. Shorts during the day and a light top. Sandles or tennis shoes that are comfortable. You may need slacks in the evening after the sun sets but it stays warm enough that a jacket isn't necessary but you might bring one just in case. A swim suit because it is still swimming season here.

it actually gets just a little bit chilly in late october. so i suggest packing a light sweater just in case.
