What type of college should I aim for? Or which one?

The pressure is on to get into the best college possible, and I would like opinions on what type of college i should aim for. A specific college would be nice too. I am entering high school I had a 3.8-4.0 G.P.A.through my middle school years. I was in CJSF (California Junior Scholarship Fed.) NJHS, President of my 7th and 8th grade class. I go to a public school in a reputable area and was in the advanced science and math portion of the school. I have played the cello for 5 years and am pretty good at it. I am a VERY liberal Democrat and am one of those people that are willing to help anyone for any reason. (I won the character award at my graduation)

I would like to go to a prestigious university and would like my occupation to be either a psychiatrist, neurosurgeon, or a lawyer of some kind.

I am taking ALL honors for high school.

Here's my advice -- don't aim for college just yet. Get through your freshman and sophmore year with the best grades you can. Junior year is what's important, though. It's when SATS and ACTS start. When the time comes, you'll be able to go to a councilor to discuss your college options. Until then, you can't wager what college you should aim for just from middle school. Middle school counts for c**p, really.
