I bought my bike from a guy who didn t use the bike in 2 years the bike is brand new it just has 200 miles but its been in the garage for long time I checked the fluids and everything its ok but the coolant is really low and i don't know what kind of coolant should I use and know the manual says that i should use one that is ok with my aluminiun radiator. Now for the oil should I change the oil or should I just wait til next service?

  1. stick with the stock coolant all types of coolant are not compatible with your water pump and metals in your bike

one of the wosrt things about letting oil go that long sitting. is the acids from the by products of combustion have time to sit in the oil and corrode parts and degrade the oil

    Change the oil and filter

  2. silicate free anti freeze

I recommend the Honda Anti Freeze in all bikes

Honda will reject a warranty claim on any cooling system related problem if a silicate free anti freeze wasn't used.

  3. see what color it is green or pink..they gave you the answer  must work with aluminiun.. any part store or wal mart and yes change the oil and filter is smart ....id change the plugs and air filter also do the service now you dont know what he has or has not done even thro new best you do ... he should have had a book on it if he didnt you should buy one will save you many times if your planing on riding it you should plan on fixing it
