What type of cosmetic foundation makes you face not look dry?

I saw this girl that wore makeup and her face looks so dry and the foundation didn't fit her skin color and i wanted to ask, what type of foundation is good and not make your face look dry? I think all see used was bare minerals i think that's why it looked so dry? Or ether she just didn't know how to put on makeup 0.o But anyways Is cream foundation like bare minerials foundation and liquid foundation? What is better to put on? I just don't want my face to look like the girl who had that dry makeup.

Well without seeing the car it's hard to say what happened.  A mineral makeup should not dry you out and is going to give you a more sheer natural look.  Liquid foundations can be drying if you got a formula for an oily skin that absorbs oils, there are so many liquids foundations for oily, dry, normal skin.  Creme tend to be heavy and I suggest should be used with people that need a lot of coverage.

I myself feel like foundation should only be used to even out your skin tone, you should only put in areas around your cheeks and nose.  If you have nice skin, dont wear a foundation at all and choose a tinted moisturizer.  I love Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, I think one of the best on the market.  http://www.lauramercier.com/products/fla...

Before you use any type of foundation you must prep your skin.  You need to wash, tone, and moisturizer, and if you like use a foundation primer.

well, all do, just put on lotion first, before you but on your cosmetics.
