  1. please please please don't be soo naive to go to Barcelona thinking you're going to see anyone dancing flamenco,, that's as stupid as saying if you go to America everyone dances country music like in Texas.... flamenco is the regional dance of andalucia,,,, in Barcelona you may be able to see their folk culture and if you have a chance to go to galicia and Asturias they have a Celtic culture which has regional dances and the most significant part of the music is the bagpipe..... no you will not need to know how to dance flamenco unless you want to call attention to yourself... there are salsas clubs in Barcelona so if you want to practice your moves there you can.. go to los40principales.com if you want to see the top 40 songs in Spain.. good luck

  2. Flamenco, lots of folk dances

  3. For many people, Spanish music is synonymous with flamenco, an Andalusian Gipsy genre of music. However, regional styles of folk music abound, and pop, rock are also popular. The Spanish passion for love and beauty exude through its music, from classical to flamenco to pop. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/spanish_music.... for more details

  4. I am Puertorican with a Spain background. The most popular music is the Flamenco. This type of music is typically the style played overall.
