What type of dance lessons should I take?

I'M HAVING A FORMAL DANCE FOR MY BIRTHDAY. AND I WILL DANCE WITH MY BROTHER TO THE SONG MY WISH BY RASCAL FLATTS. BUT I'M NOT SURE WHAT TYPE OF DANCE I NEED TO LEARN FOR THIS SONG. PLEASE HELP ME.

  1. The dance you would do to that song is a "nightclub two step."  It is an easy step to learn.  All you need is the basic step (the step 1 of 5 by michaehu on YouTube) and maybe an underarm turn to look fancy.  You can also learn it at any ballroom dance studio,.


  2. Go to a ballroom dance studio. They have the dance styles for formal events. I don't know what song it is so I don't know if the foxtrot would go with it. But the instructor would surely be able to help you!

  3. I would go to a dance studio and learn from an expert. Learning off of youtube is okay if you don't mind it looking sloppy but a professional will be able to help you clean up your steps but can also choreograph a entire routine for that song.
